The Snodgrass Trail is a beautiful hike, connectingMt. Crested Butte to the Washington Gulch, but climbing through Aspen Meadows and meandering through cattle pastures. There’s a quiet truce in the community; one that’s built on the knowledge that people will continue to visit and move to the area, so management, and cooperation are the keys to preserving the beauty. Groups that were once opposed to each other now work together to ensure the new comers can experience and appreciate what they’ve just discovered for themselves.
