A Colorado Calendar for 2021

I’ve been wanting to share this for a while, and now I finally can, a 2021 Calendar featuring images from around Colorado! There are so many amazing sights in our state and whittling the past two year’s shooting down to just 12 images was daunting, yet so rewarding.  Beginning and ending with images from the metro area, the months take us to just a few of my favorite locations, at my favorite time of the years. You can preview a Web Gallery for all of the images inside this year’s calendar.

Iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater, under a blanket of fresh snow, starts the year off.  A cold February sunrise across South Park exceeded every expectation. The Great Sand Dunes, shot during March, is always a good Spring Break destination. Capturing the Milky Way over Loveland Pass and the Continental Divide was an incredible late April surprise. Sunsets over the Black Canyon of the Gunnison never disappoint, and this example from May proves that.  With summer just beginning, the School House outside of Steamboat Springs is a great place to relax. Finding our State Flower, the Columbine, in the American Basin during the month of July is always rewarding. Sunflowers are reminders that summer is winding down, when the fields surrounding DIA begin to bloom. The Grand Mesa holds many secrets, but the Aspens during September love to show off.  Kebler Pass is home to some of the state’s largest Aspen groves, with October being a prime month to visit. November brings winter to the Maroon Bells. And Union Station, decked in holiday lights brings our year to an end.

I do hope you enjoy this year’s calendar, and I look forward to creating more of these in the future!
